LET THEM EAT CAKE?

Although yesterday was Veterans Day, it was also my granddaughters birthday. My son and I took her "birthday cake" over to her school. She was expecting donuts. She got donuts and thanks to Dora at Krispy Cream Donut shop she got a donut cake. (3 doz. to be exact.)
Now her favorite color is purple so we had plain glazed donuts with white frosting/glaze and sprinkles. We had a couple of sparkly purple things on top along with a Happy Birthday paper crown.
The teacher let them party 30 minutes before school was out. I know of lot of kids went home hyper, but then that's not my problem. It's really a good thing I don't like donuts because they smelled good.
Sedona turned 9 and has the mind of an 18 year old. She is a tiari away from getting a crown. She has her first competition in gymnastics this Sunday. She is so darn limber she can do anything! I forget I used to be like that. Also, tomorrow she and Doc are celebrating their birthdays together by going out to dinner at Sullivans. It's a fancy Steakhouse. She has her party dress ready, her hose, her heels and her handbag. Doc has her presents ready. I think I'm the driver and the official picture taker.
More pictures to follow later.

She's adorable Anne! I know all about those 9-going-on-30-year-olds! Hope she and Doc had a great day!

She's cute! I'd kill for Krispy kreme...they're they best, especially hot out of the oven.

When I read that you guys were going to Sullivan's for dinner I had to check my social calendar to make sure that Johnnie Walker Black didn't make arrangements without telling me.

Happy Birthday wishes to all!
