A NOVEL IDEA!

Hidden Book Camera

OK, here's a novel idea........we have a wonderful group of people here in J-land. Some very talented writers and some very interesting people. There are a lot of us who have a novel in us, but will never get around to it.  I have decided that EVERYBODY has a sentence or two in them.  So here's the plan.......let's put together a chapter or two. Silly or serious. I am going to write a bit and then whoever comments, write another sentence or two and every few days I will put them together and see what we have come up with.  The only rule is......don't ever write, "IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT". HAAAAAAAA

OK, here is my sentence(s)........and by the way, feel free to add to it more than once.

THE grimace on her face was all to apparent. She had not expected to be licked like a blue plate special, in an all you can eat late night dinner.

So............take it away..................(or I could go screw myself!)

....and, as luck would have it, she was not, unless you counted the six-week-old Blue Tick Hound puppies who had licked her when she visited a local kennel.

To add on to Mosie's .......

Still, as the breeze blew off the ocean and kissed her face, she wondered when her life would return to some semblence of order.

After all, the only order she'd had lately was her self-righteous boss's order to put out or get out.

...and she couldn't put out because it was against her moral convictions and it would be hard for her to get out because rent was due and it was almost the first of the month.

(great idea Anne)

She was in the diner when she was licked?

Hm.

On second thought, what else could she have expected after she langorously spread herself with whipping cream. So she was a little myopic and confused the whipping cream with the suntan lotion.

as she gazed out the window, then glancing back, she peered at him wondering what was he doing....(more thoughts soon...luv this!)~kbear

He always preferred his fruits well-ripened, but the turn of events quickly had him ditching his spoon in favor of a jar of greasy sunblock. He'd give her an SPF to remember...

But that's exactly what he did, much to her shock and amazement.
What was wrong with this guy anyway?  My face was hot and sticky
from working all night, and besides...who licks someone?  Why
couldn't it have been a kiss?  How do I attract these wierdos!

Yet this old dog had stirred something deep inside her and feelings surfaced that had been buried for too many long years.

What troubled her most was not the fact that he was married, which he was, but the fact that he was a Republican and she was a Democrat.

""And our differences didnot even stop with Democrat and Rebpublican.  My Mother is going to die when I tell her "npt only a he a licker and a Democrat but he is also Jewish and here I am " some kind of Christian." I gotta' get out of here, find Old Shep , let him lick my face  clean so I can feel good again.      JenFar

His tongue was rough; it felt as if a cow was licking her--even her hair was wet. Then, from nowhere, the revenge of the Church Buffet began to overtake her. Not wanting to be rude, she turned her head--and just at the moment he turned her head back toward his, and pressed his lips to hers, the belch she'd so bravely tried to stifle, freed itself, and filled his open mouth.
(if  you changed the "she" to "he" this is a pretty autobiographical little paragraph!)

So

So she pasted a smile on her face and hugged the furry little thing.  The cat she had found had been starving.  And now it was doing it's best to thank her for the tuna fish sandwich that she had shared with it.  She was going to name him Blue. (as he thought of her as a blue plate special)

"But do you expect from a big Sheep Dog?"+

Was it it dream?  This bat-like creature with needle-like teeth and lustful eyes perching on her chest?  Was it wrong that she was not scared?

It wasn't wrong, because she was a total weirdo; all her neighbors agreed on that point.

"What on earth do you think your doing?", she said.  "We just met and I NEVER wet kiss on the first date."  Paulette

She only hoped that his table manners were better ... if he handled his food the way he handled her, she could not imagine having to spend the rest of her life sitting across from him at the breakfast table.  Tina
